This programme is designed to provide students who wish to become Security Guards with the basic knowledge to assist them to carry out everyday security tasks. It is also suitable for security officers already working within the industry who wish to gain their first qualification.  This course is a FETAC Level 4 certification and is the minimum requirement to apply for Private Security Authority for a Security Guard Licence.
